Oferta
HYW ER309LSi High-Silicon Stainless Steel MIG Welding Wire is a low-carbon (L), high-silicon (Si) austenitic stainless MIG wire (23% Cr / 13% Ni) engineered for dissimilar-metal joints and overlay work. The elevated silicon content improves puddle wetting and fluidity for smoother, flatter beads and reduced spatter in high-deposition production welding, while the low carbon level guards against intergranular corrosion. Supplied on large production spools.
Key Features
- › Elevated silicon (LSi) chemistry for superior wetting, fluid puddle and flatter beads
- › Higher Cr / Ni alloy content ideal for dissimilar-metal and overlay welding
- › Low-carbon (L) base minimizes carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion
- › Large 25 lb production spools for high-deposition, high-volume welding
Ideal Applications
- › Joining stainless steel to carbon or low-alloy steel (dissimilar joints)
- › Buffer / first-layer cladding and overlay welding
- › High-volume production welding of 309 / 309S stainless
- › Heat- and corrosion-resistant fabrication and repair

Available Sizes & Recommended Amperage
| Diameter | Recommended Amperage |
|---|---|
| .035″ (0.9 mm) | 50 – 180 A |
| .045″ (1.2 mm) | 75 – 350 A |
Recommended amperage ranges are general guidelines; optimal settings vary with base-metal thickness, joint design, shielding gas, and welding position. Store wire in a dry location to prevent oxidation and ensure smooth feeding.
