Regular price $22.46 Sale

HYW E308LT0-3 Gasless Stainless Flux-Cored Welding Wire is a self-shielded (gasless) stainless steel flux-cored wire for 304 / 304L (SUS 308 / 308L) — no shielding gas or cylinder required. Ideal for portable and outdoor repair, it lays down a crack-resistant stainless deposit on light-gauge work. Select your diameter and packaging from the options above.

Key Features

  • Available in .035" and .045" on 2 lb rolls and 10 lb spools
  • Self-shielded — no shielding gas, cylinder, or regulator required
  • Ideal for portable, outdoor, and breezy job-site repair
  • Optimum ferrite content for crack-resistant 308 / 308L deposits
  • Smooth arc with easy slag removal and good bead appearance
  • Runs on compact MIG / wire-feed machines

Ideal Applications

  • Repair and maintenance of 304 / 304L (SUS 308 / 308L) stainless
  • Light-gauge stainless sheet and general fabrication
  • Portable and outdoor stainless welding without gas
  • Tanks, hoppers, and equipment where gas shielding is impractical

Available Sizes & Recommended Amperage

Diameter Recommended Amperage
.035" (0.9 mm) 60 – 140 A
.045" (1.2 mm) 90 – 200 A

Recommended amperage ranges are general guidelines; optimal settings vary with base-metal thickness, joint design, and welding position. Keep wire in a dry location and use promptly after opening — flux-cored wire is moisture-sensitive and should not be stored long in high humidity.

⚠ WARNING: This product and the fumes and gases produced when welding it can expose you to chemicals including nickel and hexavalent chromium compounds, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, and manganese, which is known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
