Welding Liner
MIG gun liners (wire conduit liners) from HYW Products. The liner runs the length of the gun cable and guides the wire from the feeder to the contact tip. A liner matched to your wire size and in good condition is essential for smooth, consistent feeding — a worn or wrong-size liner causes bird-nesting, erratic arcs, and burnback.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which liner do I need?
Match the liner to your wire diameter and gun/cable length. Use a steel coil liner for steel and stainless wire, and a nylon or PTFE (Teflon) liner for soft aluminum wire to prevent friction and shaving.
What causes wire feeding problems?
Often a worn, kinked, or wrong-size liner. Replacing the liner and matching it to the wire usually restores smooth feeding.
