Store cable in a clean, dry area away from moisture and chemicals; keep coils and reels supported to prevent kinking. Breaking-strength figures are nominal minimum values based on the bare galvanized steel core (the PVC jacket does not add rated strength) and are provided for reference only — always apply an appropriate design safety factor (commonly 5:1, or higher for overhead/life-safety use). Commercial-grade aircraft cable is intended for general-purpose use and is not certified for aircraft flight controls.
