Vinyl Coated (Clear PVC) Galvanized Wire Rope Cable

Regular price $15.28 Sale

Our Vinyl Coated (Clear PVC) Galvanized Wire Rope features a galvanized steel core sealed inside a tough, transparent PVC jacket that adds abrasion resistance, protects against rust, and prevents scratching or marring of surfaces. Sizes are listed as bare-cable diameter to coated outside diameter (for example, 1/8" – 3/16" means a 1/8" cable coated to a 3/16" OD). Available in 7x7 and 7x19 constructions, it’s ideal where a clean finish and surface protection are needed.

Store cable in a clean, dry area away from moisture and chemicals; keep coils and reels supported to prevent kinking. Breaking-strength figures are nominal minimum values based on the bare galvanized steel core (the PVC jacket does not add rated strength) and are provided for reference only — always apply an appropriate design safety factor (commonly 5:1, or higher for overhead/life-safety use). Commercial-grade aircraft cable is intended for general-purpose use and is not certified for aircraft flight controls.
