E71T-1 Gas-Shielded Flux-Cored Welding Wire is a rutile, all-position flux-cored wire that delivers a smooth, spray-like arc, high deposition rates, and excellent bead appearance on mild and low-carbon steel. Run with CO² or 75/25 Ar/CO² shielding gas, it is a production workhorse for fabrication and structural welding.
Key Features
- Smooth, stable spray-type arc with low spatter
- High deposition rate for productive, high-duty-cycle welding
- All-position operation, including vertical-up and overhead
- Easy slag removal and excellent bead profile
- Single- and multi-pass capable
Ideal Applications
- Structural steel and heavy fabrication
- Shipbuilding, bridges, construction and earthmoving equipment
- General plate and pipe fabrication
- Production welding requiring high output
