HYW Products' ERCuSi-A Silicon Bronze MIG welding wire is a copper-silicon filler metal (AWS A5.7/A5.7M ERCuSi-A) for GMAW (MIG) welding and MIG brazing. Widely used in automotive sheet-metal repair, it deposits at low heat to braze-weld galvanized and high-strength steels without burning through, while delivering excellent corrosion resistance on copper, brass, and bronze.
Key Features
- AWS A5.7/A5.7M ERCuSi-A copper-silicon (silicon bronze) classification
- Low-heat MIG brazing reduces distortion and preserves zinc coatings
- Smooth, stable arc with excellent bead wetting and minimal spatter
- Strong corrosion resistance for marine and freshwater service
- Runs on 100% argon shielding, DCEP (reverse polarity)
- Precision layer-wound rolls and spools for consistent feeding
Ideal Applications
- Automotive body panel and sheet-metal MIG brazing
- Joining galvanized, zinc-coated, and high-strength steels
- Welding copper, brass, and silicon bronze
- Corrosion-resistant overlays and build-up
- HVAC, marine, and ornamental fabrication
