The HY600H Hardfacing .045" Flux-Cored Welding Wire is engineered for demanding wear-resistant applications where durability and performance matter. This gas-shielded cored wire delivers deposits that withstand metal-to-metal contact and mild abrasion, making it ideal for heavy-use surfaces. Formulated with carbon, chromium, manganese, silicon, and molybdenum, it provides a hard, resilient overlay with an average hardness of 55–59 Rc. The wire maintains good hot-hardness up to 400°F (200°C), ensuring stability in elevated-temperature environments. It can be applied in up to three layers, offering flexibility for various repair and build-up tasks. Common applications include crane wheels, blower blades, bucket lips, dredge components, and other high-impact wear parts.
