The E308LT0-3 Stainless Steel Flux Cored Wire available in .035'' or .045" diameter is engineered for self-shielded welding of low-carbon 18%Cr-8%Ni stainless steels. Ideal for joining STS 304, 304L, 308, and similar grades, it is suitable for flat and horizontal position welding without the need for external shielding gas. This lime-titania type wire delivers easy slag removal, minimal spatter, and smooth bead surfaces. The all-weld metal offers good corrosion and heat resistance thanks to its low-ferrite austenitic microstructure. With excellent mechanical performance and high X-ray safety, this wire supports strong, clean welds. It operates on DC+ polarity and should be stored in a low-humidity environment to avoid moisture absorption.
