This Series 40 medium heavy-duty swivel caster with Top Lock Brake is designed for high-load performance, smooth maneuverability, and secure positioning in demanding industrial and commercial environments. It features a 4-inch x 2-inch polyurethane wheel bonded to a cast iron core, combining the strength of cast iron with the cushioning and floor protection of polyurethane. This construction provides excellent durability, reduced noise, and smooth rolling on a variety of surfaces.
Built with a cold-forged top plate and precision components, this caster includes a double-row ball bearing swivel raceway for effortless 360° rotation and improved directional control. Hardened raceways and a built-in Zerk fitting allow for routine lubrication, helping extend service life and maintain consistent performance.
With an overall height of 5-5/8", a 1/2" axle, and a 5/8" kingpin, this caster supports loads up to 700 lbs. The integrated Top Lock Brake (TB) provides secure wheel locking, ensuring stability and safety when equipment must remain stationary.
The top plate measures 3-15/16" x 4-1/2" with bolt hole spacing of 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" to 3" x 3", and accommodates 3/8" mounting hardware.
